Who is South Park even made for? It irritates me that people think that this is what passes for brilliant social commentary. Let me give you an example of what I hear when South Park is on.
Cartoon kid: "Tom Cruise doody pee."
Poorly written rural stereotype: "I'm so stupid, I am not smart like people who live near tall buildings"
Cartoon kid: "Cultural touchstone that the fans that are being talked down to will understand, poop, diarreah, pee pee."
Why the fuck do we let these two jackasses make fun of us? What have they done to deserve this privelege? All they do is the same thing that Adam Sandler does for 20 minutes and then they have some dumb construction paper cartoon preach to us for 2 minutes. It is great that they think that people need a speech at the end to tell them what the fuck they just watched. They don't trust that we are able to decipher what an election between a "giant douche" and a "turd sandwich" is supposed to mean to us in the real world where we have trouble figuring out childishly ham handed metaphors?
South Park is everything that I hate about cartoons and comedy writers. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are on the outside looking in. They think that they are smarter than you and that they are showing you something that you have never thought of. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES SUCK. We also know that Scientology is wacky, thanks for blowing the lid off of that one.
So stop watching South Park, it is safe, corporate rebellion. Be a real rebel, stop taking shit from your boss, stop talking about who Tom Cruise is fucking, and stop watching fucking cartoons. You're an adult.
The addendum just went up. We do 2 hours of comedy every week, subscribe to the show so you have something worthwhile to listen to on your sylvania mp3 video media player from big lots.
